The main goal is to establish a business portal which will offer all necessary information for conducting business in Slovenia to foreign and domestic business entities and enable them to acquire permits from outside Slovenia, and offer all necessary information for conducting business in other EU Member States to domestic business entities.

The website is available for users in two languages: English (www.eugo.gov.si) and Slovenian (www.eugo.gov.si/si/).

The English version is intended for foreigners who wish to start conducting business in Slovenia. During the transitional period, the Slovenian version is intended for Slovenians who wish to acquire all relevant information on the conditions for the provision of services in Slovenia in one place.

The Slovenian version is entitled ‘Conducting business/How to start and conduct business in the EU’.

During the transitional period, the information on permits and conditions for the provision of services which are relevant for Slovenian entities has to be ensured on the e-Vem website (http://evem.gov.si/evem/). After the successful implementation of this content on the e-Vem portal, the Slovenian version will be transformed into a website which will be primarily intended for Slovenian entities searching for information on the conditions for conducting business in other EU Member States.

Except for the first section which is intended for the presentation of Slovenia, all contents is available in both English and Slovenian during the transitional period.
